Late November of 2016, La ciencia simple was the support band for Tortoise at their show in Santiago.

La ciencia simple was part of the virtual version of Primavera Pro 2020 due to global contingency. The band performed “Transiente”, a live session recorded in an old ruined house in Santiago de Chile.

A great achievement for the band was John McEntire's interest in working with them after the Tortoise concert in Santiago 2016. That project was finally realized during 2021, when the band traveled to the United States and recorded with John their 4th album "Ritmos en cruz".

La ciencia simple completed a tour around five cities from Chile, where they featured an innovator show characterized by their musicalization of the film Stalker (1979) from famous director Andrei Tarkovsky.
The cities were Valparaiso, Santiago, Valdivia, Concepción and Puerto Montt.
